God sovereignly uses heresy to bring purity, thus, peace to His church, to bring us closer to Him and His Word, and to our knees to pray.
"God's not mean...He's holy. If you cheapen that holiness no one wins and God isn't perfect...my heart is heavy again." - Matt Chandler
"It is only because of the doctrine of judgment and hell that Jesus’ proclamation of grace & love are so brilliant & astounding." - Tim Keller
"The doctrine of no punishment for any man is popular at this day, and threatens to have even greater sway in the future." ~ Charles Spurgeon
"There is a God we want and a God that is, and the two are not the same God." - Patrick Morley

Do you think the baby was crying at the start because he knew he was about to hear heresy and was weeping for everyone?
It is certainly a tragedy that Rob Bell is walking away from Biblical truth in order to "feel better" about God and market Christianity in a more pleasing away. He needs our prayers.
Rob Bell walked away from Biblical truth long ago. This book is not a new position for Bell. The apostle of love says, "They went out from us because they were never really part of us."
